Welcome to our website. If you know all about Sibit you'll skip this bit, but if you are new to us you might just read on a bit. We are based in Crowthorne, Berkshire, and from our offices and workshop we service clients mainly in the UK but also abroad. The majority of our local clients are just that, local, primarily Ascot, Windlesham, Wentworth, Virginia Water, Camberley, Finchampstead, Wokingham, Yateley, Hartley Wintney and of course Sandhurst and Crowthorne.
We specialise in Opticians, but also service many other verticals markets as well as other non specific small businesses and individuals.
We provide an all encompassing IT service, from supply, to manage, repair and support. Yes we remove virus infections ! We also stock a wide range of printer and computer consumables, ink, usb flash drives, blank CDs and DVDs, most of the things that we use ourselves on a day to day basis.
Opening Hours : General Public: Monday 10am through 6pm, Tuesday 9am through 6pm, Wednesday closed. Thursdays 9am through 8pm, Fridays, 9am through 6pm, Saturdays and Sundays Closed.
Opening Hours : Business clients with support contracts: Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm, weekend cover by arrangement.

IT has grown into an almighty beast of an industry, there are many complications, an awful lot of products, and a potential headache making everything just work.
That's what we do - we make stuff just work.
If you ever come into our offices and ask for a new laptop, don't be surprised if we ask what you want to use it for, we will never assume that the manufacturers' latest mega deal is right for everyone. IT has to be tailored to an individual, their wants and expectations have to be satisfied, and often there are budget constrains that need to be adhered to, this all needs to be taken into account.
The same goes for repairs, we will often provide written estimates for repairs, again to help manage cost expectations, and hopefully make the repair bill a pleasant surprise.
We aim to have more than just a client/supplier relationship with our business clientele, we strive to become more, to become their trusted partner and as such often are called in to help with IT strategy and long term plans. We not only perform break/fix services for business clients, but also proactively manage their networks, servers, and associated hardware/software. Being invited to their Christmas parties is an added bonus that's always welcome.

We have been designing web sites since we started in 2006, in fact one of the first project sites we did was for Ocuco, a well known Dublin based software firm, specialising in opticians and optometry in general.
All the web design work we do is through a content management solution, typically Joomla or Wordpress. Taking this route makes the time needed to complete a project a lot shorter than starting from scratch and also hands control of content directly to the client.
In many instances sites have been designed with blank pages ready for the client to sit down with a glass of Chablis and crack on with content creation.
Once you are shown how to do it and have entered in a couple of pages you really will wonder what all the fuss with web design is about!
The template we have used for the Sibit website is from Rocket Themes, it's a paid template, and well worth the investment. There are several variations to the template, please do hover over the "Web Design" button and try a few out, chances are your computer will remember which one you liked and present it to you next time you visit this website.
Costs for websites vary with the amount of time it takes and the complexity of build. Expect around ten hours WEBDEV @ £60 per hour + VAT for a typical small company site, produced in Joomla or Wordpress, ready for your content to be pushed into place by you, or in the case of more complex and design led sites, anywhere up to 80 hours!
We have in the main two categories of client, business and consumer. Sometimes with small businesses there is a grey area where the two ocassionally merge, but generally it's pretty easy to work out which area you belong to.
We cap consumer off site repairs at one hours labour, regardless of the time it actually takes to do the repair. We know the peace of mind this brings to consumers, nasty virus infections or data recovery can in some cases take days to resolve, and no-one wants to see a bill for more than their machine cost in the first place. We often get asked how we can justify capping at such a low rate, it really is simple, if we are working on 6 machines at once, and it takes six hours on average to repair the machines, then each has really only taken an hour of actual hands on time to fix.
We can afford to keep consumer rates fixed at a low price point as our business clients take precidence over all consumer tasks, if you like, their urgency subsidises the consumer work.
On site repairers have to charge for their time onsite, which can often hike the bill up. We don't like that.
Off site support / repair is charged at a flat rate of £60 per hour plus VAT, whilst on site repair / support is charged at £70 per hour plus VAT.
Business users are charged the same as consumers, however we would encourage business users to invest in a support contract. Business users on contract take precidence over all other users and receive immediate support as and when required (under normal office hours and often beyond).
Business support contracts average £32 per user per month + VAT, which is typically around half the industry rate.
We can work at such low rates by being busy, any spare time is never spent idle, it's dedicated to working on consumer repairs, web development and maintenence tasks.
