Ocuco is a software company supplying off the shelf software to the optical and pharmacy retail industries, optical prescription laboratories, and ophthalmologists. Ocuco group had combined revenues of over $8m in 2007, a staff of 60, and a suite of products covering both optical retail and laboratory systems, pharmacy and ophthalmology, and an installed base of over 1,050 sites spread across the US, UK, Ireland and Europe. 

In the Optical Retail marketplace Ocuco's software products have been in use since 1993, and range from Acuitas Enterprise™, for optical retail chains to Acuitas™ and Focus™ for independent practices. In all over 1,000 optical practices use Ocuco software.

In Optical Retail Manufacturing, the company also supports over 70 sites using the Labman™ lab management software for optical Rx labs and the Innovations™ lab manufacturing software installed in over 2,000 Rx labs and retail outlets around North America.

Integra™ is the latest version of the company’s Pharmacy Retail software, comprising a dispensary system (Integra Rx™), an integrated EPoS system (Integra POS™) and an Enterprise option (Integra H.O.™) with central management and head office support office application for groups and chains. Over 120 Irish pharmacies currently use Ocuco software.

In Ophthalmology Acuitas Clinical™ is in use by over 50 hospitals, laser eye surgeries and private ophthalmology practices in the UK and Ireland. Separately available the Acuitas DR Suite is also in use for fundus photography grading and management of population based diabetic retinopathy screening programs.
