It is an adware program which passes itself off as an antivirus solution that protects the computer against any malware, when in fact it is not able to detect malware. It can reach the computer when the user accesses certain websites which display banners or pop-up windows which lead to the download of this program.

The objective of this worm is to advertise the blog of its author, as the modifications it carries out in the system (Desktop wallpaper, Windows Explorer background, Internet Explorer start page) display the name of the author's weblog. It spreads through removable devices, like USB keys.

It is designed to steal users' banking details belonging to a certain Brazilian banking entity. It reaches the computer in a phishing message which seems to have been sent by such banking entity.

It is an adware program which deceives users and warns them of unexisting threats in their computers. It can reach the computer when the user accesses certain websites which display banners or pop-up windows which lead to the download of this program.

It is a critical vulnerability in certain versions of Outlook Express and Windows Mail on Windows 7/2008/Vista/2003/XP/2000 computers, which allows hackers to gain remote control of the affected computer with the same privileges as the logged on user.

Its main aim is to spread via email messages and affect as many computers as possible. It has rootkit functionalities in order to make its detection more difficult.
